
ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement investigating an alleged altercation in a restaurant drive through made an arrest.
Just after 5:30p.m. Aug. 14, police officers responded to a disturbance that had occurred in a drive thru at a restaurant in the 400 block South 10th Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
An altercation had occurred with occupants in two vehicles and during the disturbance one individual in one vehicle allegedly threatened individuals in the other vehicle with a knife.
Ross Low, 71, Atchison, had left the area before police arrived. He was located a short time later and subsequently arrested on a requested charge of aggravated assault. There were no injuries.
