KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement investigating a gunfight in Kansas City have identified the man who died as 19-year-old Tondre Turner, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
Just before 11.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to a shooting at a house in 9600 block of Ditman Way, according to Becchina.
First responders located two shooting victims in front of the home. EMS transported both men to the hospital with gunshot injuries. One of the victims was being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Turner was declared deceased by hospital staff, according to Becchina.
Preliminary information according to people that were at the scene when police arrived indicates that prior to the shooting the Turner arrived at the residence and an argument erupted which escalated and led to gunfire between both shooting victims, and both victims were struck. The victims are known to one another and detectives are not looking for any additional suspects.
