BUTLER COUNTY—One person died in accident just afater 10a.m. Thursday in Butler County..
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Ford Focus driven by Devin Daignault, 30, Park City, was eastbound in the 11000 Block U.S. 400 behind a 1999 Chevy S10 driven by Brook Clark, 64, Towanda. The Ford struck the Chevy as it slowed to make a left turn onto SE Stony Creek Road.
Clark was pronounced deceased and transported to Kirby-Morris Funeral Home. EMS transported Daignault to Wesley Medical Center. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the crash, according to the KHP.
