KANSAS CITY — Law enforcement continue working to identify a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Oct. 21 at the Hawthorn Bank, 17430 E. 39th Street in Independence, Missouri, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, made a verbal demand for cash, and brandished a firearm. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash on a blue sports bike
According to reports, the suspect is described as older white male, approximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9 tall, short grey hair, black leather jacket with patches, dark pants, grey sneakers dark head covering, Blue surgical mask.
