GRAHAM COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 6:30a.m. Wednesday in Graham County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Pontiac Montana driven by Robert L Heller, 67, Palco, was westbound in U.S. 24 three miles east of the U.S. 283 Junction. The van traveled off the road, entered the south ditch, continued into a pasture, rolled and the driver was ejected.
Heller was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Steinmetz Funeral Home. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
