SEDGWICK COUNTY— A man who died in a workplace accident has been identified as 45-year-old David Rodriguez of Wichita, according to Wichita Police Officer Kris Gupilan.
Just after 11a.m. Tuesday, first responders were called to a construction site near English Street and Topeka in Wichita for the report of a worker who critically injured in a fall. Rodriguez later died of his injuries.
A friend established an online fundraiser to assist the family. Rodriguez is survived by a wife and three young children.
