COWLEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating seven suspects on numerous charges after a drug bust.

On March 25, members of the Cowley County Drug Task Force including Winfield Police and the Cowley County Sheriff's department executed a search warrant at a home in the 1100 block of East 6th Street in Winfield, according to police spokesperson Brandi Bonesteel.

Officers found meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They arrested seven people from Winfield on a variety of charges.

 Dakota Huff, 22 was booked on a requested charge of possession of drug paraphernalia; Julia Phillips, 27; Alyna Alvarado; Kelly Wedd, 46 and Jason Volk, 36 were  booked on requested charges of drug and paraphernalia possession.

William Engleking III, 52, was booked on requested of possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug sale paraphernalia and for marijuana possession.  Dennis Smith, 71, was booked on a requested charge of marijuana possession.
