KANSAS CITY —Two people died in an accident just before 8:30p.m. Sunday in Kansas City.
According to Kansas City Police Captain Jake Becchina, a Mitsubishi Outlander was eastbound on Parvin Road. at a high rate of speed. For reasons unknown, the SUV crossed the double yellow lines and struck a westbound Ford Transit van head-on.
The unrestrained driver of the Mitsubishi was declared deceased at the scene. EMS transported two juvenile passengers of the Mitsubishi, the driver of the Ford and an adult. and juvenile passengers of the Ford to a local hospital. The driver of the Ford was later pronounced deceased. The others had non-life-threatening injuries,
