JOHNSON COUNTY —A Kansas man is going to prison for a 2021 murder.
On August 7, Judge Neil B. Foth sentenced Kyle Anthony Gutierres to 285 months in prison for second degree intentional murder, according to the Johnson County District Attorney's office.
In May of 2024, Gutierres pleaded guilty to second degree intentional murder in the death of Jeren Hinton.
On May 24, 2021, police responded to the report of an armed disturbance in an apartment complex in the 8500 block of Greenbrier Drive in Overland Park.
