Portions of the Kansas Turnpike remain closed due to flood damage

SUMNER COUNTY —Southbound Interstate 35 remains closed between the U.S. 160 exit near Wellington and the U.S. 166 exit near South Haven, according to Kansas Turnpike Authority.

The weekend rain and flood damage forced the closure. Drivers are advised to follow the KDOT-recommended detour around the closure, according to KanDrive.
