KANSAS CITY—A man faces multiple charges for allegedly sexually abusing a child under 12 years old.
Michael Andrew Burke, 28, Indeptndence, is charged with 1st Degree Rape, 1st Degree Sodomy, Statutory Sodomy, and 2nd Degree Child Molestation, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson.
If convicted, Burke could face life in prison. He is being held on a $50,000 cash only bond.
