KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just after 2a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to the area of the 3900 Block of Baltimore on a sound of gunshots call, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
First responders were led to the back parking lot of the apartment buildings where they located an adult male shooting victim unresponsive.
EMS pronunced the victim deceased. Preliminary information indicates the shooting took place in the back parking lot of the apartments after the victim had an interaction with one or more suspects that led to gunfire.
If anyone was in the area or in the apartment and heard or saw anything or has any information, they are asked to contact Homicide detectives directly at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS. There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information submitted anonymously to the TIPS hotline.
