KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas. Just before 5:30p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a shooting at 63rd and Rockhill in Kansas City, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'.
Police found a victim in a parking lot adjacent to several businesses, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino. He was taking out the trash when he "observed multiple subjects by a vehicle. An altercation occurred, resulting in the shooting.
Detectives interviewed witnesses and are examining surveillance footage and crime scene investigators collected evidence.
