
SEDGWICK COUNTY— Parents arrested in connection with the death of their 4-month old son made their first court appearance in the case.
On Tuesday, 30-year-old Krystian Manning and a 27-year-old Destiny Manning were charged with first-degree murder in commission of a felony, child abuse and seven counts of aggravated child endangerment, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.

Wichita police continue investigating the death of the 4-month-old boy and the safety and health of three other children who were living at the home.
Just before 1p.m. June 12, Sedgwick County Emergency Communications received a report of a 4-month-old boy who was not breathing in the 1700 block of West Esthner Avenue.
Sedgwick County EMS and the Wichita Fire Department were dispatched to the scene, and upon arrival, they located the child. The boy was pronounced dead by EMS.
Wichita police investigators from the homicide unit and Exploited and Missing Children's unit responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the death. Officers discovered three other children, aged 4 and younger.
Both parents, identified in county booking records as 30-year-old Krystian Manning and a 27-year-old Destiny Manning were arrested and booked into Sedgwick County Jail
The three additional children were placed into police protective custody.
