Police: Missing Manhattan girl found safe

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY — The Riley County Police Department reported just before 10a.m. Wednesday, that missing Anabelle Deacon has been located.

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY – The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue an endangered persons advisory for a missing Manhattan girl, according to a media release from the KBI.

The whereabouts of 12-year-old Anabelle C. Deacon are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate her.

Anabelle lives in Manhattan, Kansas, and in rural Pottawatomie County. She was last seen walking east on Heather Lane in Manhattan on Wednesday morning around 6:50 a.m. She was last known wearing a St. Francis Xavier’s catholic school uniform, which is tan khaki pants, and a blue polo shirt. She may also be wearing a black hoodie.

Anabelle is described as a white female, approximately 5 foot 5 inches tall, and weighing around 110 pounds. She has brown curly hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses.
