SALINE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a home burglary in Salina.
According to Salina Police Lt. Andrew Ziegler, on Wednesday, a resident in the 1200 block of N 10 Street in Salina reported over the past day someone broke into their residence through a window and stole fourteen, 1 ounce gold coins from the bedroom in the home.
The coins were encapsulated in plastic and stored in a wooden box. Total value of the coins is estimated at over $50,000.
This case is still being investigated.
