MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a report of alleged fraud.
Just after 2p.m. Monday, officers filed a report for fraud in the 600 block of Humbolt Street in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
The report listed Knopp and Bannister Attorneys Office as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect fraudulently forged a signature on business checks and cashed them.
The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $22,274.81.
