Kan. man jailed after he walks away from rollover crash

SALINE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an injury accident and have made an arrest.

A 1997 Mazda 2300 pickup driven by Wesley Spragg, 38, Salina, was westbound on Old Highway 40 at North Marymount Road just after 5a.m. Sunday, according to Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan.

The vehicle traveled onto the shoulder and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle crossed the highway and rolled into the south ditch.

Spragg left the scene on foot, but was located by deputies nearby and arrested on requested charges of  Felony DUI, Driving while suspended, Possession of marijuana, Possession of paraphernalia, Leaving the scene of an accident and Obstruction, according to Soldan.
