SEDGWICK COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal crash and have identified the victim as 67-year-old Bruce Reed of Wichita.
Just after 3:15 p.m. Sunday, a Hyundai Tuscon driven by a 66-year-old woman was southbound on Oliver in Wichita, according to officer Kevin Wheeler. The Hyundai struck a westbound Chevy Malibu driven by a 65-year-old woman at East 2nd Street.
EMS transported Reed, who was a rear-passenger in the Malibu, to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
EMS transported both drivers to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to Wheeler.
Police released no additional details including the name's of the drivers early Monday.
