SEDGWICK COUNTY— A Kansas woman has been charged in the deadly shooting of her boyfriend, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
On Tuesday, Bobbie Williams, 36, was charged with second-degree murder in the April 23 death of Blake Mayes.
She and William Moore, 51, were also charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault when they made first appearances in court.
Police investigators say the shooting happened after a disturbance occurred between Mayes, Williams and another acquaintance identified as 28-year-old Jesse Sweeney of Wichita, in connection with the shooting.
Police are asking the public for help locating Sweeney.
Police arrested Moore in Wichita and Williams in the Topeka area over the weekend.
