First case of coronavirus in Pratt Co. is community college employee

PRATT COUNTY —Authorities in Pratt County reported their first positive case of coronavirus Tuesday.

The patient is an employee of Pratt  Community College, according to a media release from the county health department. The agency did not release the age or gender of the patient. They did say the patient had not traveled, has no underlying health conditions and has been home and in quarantine since March 12. The health department is working to identify and contact any possible contacts with this patient.

Kansas had 428 coronavirus patients, according to Tuesday's report from the KDHE. The Pratt County case will be included in Wednesday's report.
