
SHAWNEE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects arrested after an early morning traffic stop.
Just before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, a Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a 2005 Chrysler 300 on NW US 75 Highway and NW 46th Street, according to Deputy Abigail. Christian
The vehicle had four occupants inside and two had warrants for their arrests including Michael D. Johnson, 53, of Topeka, who was arrested for a felony parole violation warrant. Deputies also arrested Megan N. Fender, 29, of Topeka was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant.

Johnson and Fender were both booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.
