SEDGWICK COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a homicide after a man was found in a Sedgwick County ditch with multiple stab wounds, according to Sheriff Jeff Easter.
The victim identified as 26-year-old Zackary Tilson was found in the 5500 Block of west 85th Street North near Valley Center on Friday morning, according to Lt. Tim Myers.
On Saturday, authorities arrested Jeremy T. Shuflat, 37, for warrants and he was booked in the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility. During the investigation, authorities identified Shuflat as the suspect in Tilson's murder, according to Sheriff Easter. On Tuesday afternoon, authorities added a requested charge of first-degree murder against Shuflat. No bond is listed for him
