Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan and Wamego Health Center leaders have enacted additional visitation restrictions. They are designed to protect patients and staff now that COVID-19 has reached Riley County. One case was confirmed on Friday.
According to an Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan social media announcement the hospitals are no longer allowing any visitors except in labor and delivery and in end-of-life situations, where only one visitor per patient will be allowed.
All other visitation is being limited to virtual visitation.
