The Manhattan Indians boys basketball team ( 15-7 ) will play Haysville-Campus ( 22-0 ) Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the first round of the Class 6A State Basketball Tournament. The Indians are the eighth seed while Haysville-Campus is the number one seed in the tournament.
The rest of the pairings for the 6A boys find Blue Valley North ( 19-3 ) vs. Lawrence ( 18-4 ) on the same side of the bracket as Manhattan and Haysville-Campus. The other side has Kansas City Harmon ( 20-2 ) vs. Olathe South ( 16-6 ) and Blue Valley Northwest ( 20-2 ) meeting Lawrence Free State ( 17-5 ).
The tournament runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Charles Koch Arena at Wichita State University.
