MANHATTAN —A 27-year-old man is confined in the Riley County Jail after three local businesses were burglarized Friday night in Manhattan.

Just after 12:30a.m., officers arrested Oliver Henry, 27, in the 1800 Block of Claflin during an attempted burglary at Kellstrom Pharmacy.

The Shop Quik located in the 1100 block of Scenic Landing and Candlewood Health Mart located in the 3200 block of Kimball were burglarized a short time earlier. It is believed all three incidents are connected.

Henry is being held on on a $15,000 bond on requested charges that include three counts of criminal damage to property, 2 counts of burglary and attempted burglary.

Police also thanked the citizen who called in to 911 to report suspicious activity at Kellstroms so officers could quickly respond.
