Flint Hills Discovery Center searching for local makers and artists

Local artists and makers are invited to participate in the annual Meet the Makers series at the Flint Hills Discovery Center March 9-13. Whether you are a painter, sculptor, tinkerer or other type of artist or fabricator, you can show your work to the community.

Participants commit to a single day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., must provide live demonstrations of their original work and interact informally with the public.

Examples can include painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, woodwork, textile arts, printmaking, filmmaking, performance art, robotics and other creative mediums.
