KSU season ticket options announced for 2020 football season

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Coming off an 8-5 campaign in the first season under head coach Chris Klieman – a year in which the Wildcats tied for third in the Big 12 and earned a bowl berth for the ninth time in the last 10 years – anticipation is building for K-State’s 2020 football season as athletics officials announced today a full menu of ticket options when season tickets go on sale on Wednesday, February 5.

The Wildcats host seven home games, including SEC opponent Vanderbilt, in-state rival Kansas, and Big 12 foes Texas, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State. K-State begins the season against 2019 bowl game winner Buffalo on Saturday, September 5, and hosts five home games in the first six weeks of the season.

Fans will again be offered a variety of choices with season ticket options starting at less than $22 per game. All season ticket prices in Bill Snyder Family Stadium remain unchanged for 2020, including $150 view level season tickets, $150 season tickets for young alumni and the $199 Mobile Flex Ticket.

New season ticket holders, or 2019 season ticket holders who wish to change their seat location or add additional seats, can select their seat from any season ticket location that was available at the end of last season. At 8:30 a.m., February 5, open locations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to all fans, regardless of priority point status. Click here to preview the available inventory ahead of the February 5 on-sale.

Fans who order by the incentive deadline of March 1 will receive $10 off the $25 processing fee when ordering online in addition to a free gift of their choice between a free beer on the Goss Family South Tailgate Terrace, two free Section 28 tickets to the Oklahoma State game (limited 500 accounts, two free individual game GA tickets to a soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball and baseball game, or a free Chick-fil-A sandwich at the stadium.

Any locations that are currently occupied and dropped by 2019 season ticket holders during the renewal process will only be available during the online seat selection process in May at an appointment time designated in priority point order. Fans who renew or purchase 2020 season tickets by the April 17 priority deadline will be able to upgrade their location during this online seat selection process in May.

K-State fans will notice changes in the south end of Bill Snyder Family Stadium this fall as two new video boards will be installed this offseason in the southeast and southwest corners to mirror those in the north end zone. Construction to the new covered concourse, permanent concessions, restrooms and premium seating options in the south end will be ongoing next fall and will be ready in time for the 2021 season.

Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets can do so beginning February 5 online at www.k-statesports.com/tickets or by calling 1-800-221-CATS. Fans ordering their season tickets may again take advantage of a payment plan option at no extra cost. Those who renew before March 1 can elect to split the cost into five equal payments.

Annual promotional activities in 2020 include Ahearn Fund Appreciation Day and K-State Athletics Hall of Fame Weekend (Sept. 5 vs. Buffalo, University Family Day and Extra Yard for Teachers (Sept. 12 vs. North Dakota, Fort Riley Day (Sept. 19 vs. Vanderbilt, Harley Day (Oct. 3 vs. Texas, Homecoming and Cats for Cans (Oct. 10 vs. Kansas, Celebrate Ag (Nov. 7 vs. Texas Tech, and Senior Day and Varsity K Club Weekend (Nov. 21 vs. Oklahoma State).

Looking ahead to the 2020 season, spring practices get underway on March 18, which culminates with a free open spring practice on Friday, April 17 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in lieu of a traditional spring game. That weekend will also feature the annual Powercat Auction, which will be held Saturday night inside Bramlage Coliseum. K-State returns 10 starters – including six on defense – and 18 players overall who made at least one start in 2019.
