Police ask for help to locate wanted Kansas felon

SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement are asking for help to locate a wanted Kansas felon.

 Wichita Police are looking for 57-year-old James Emley who currently has two outstanding warrants. The warrants stem from 2019 cases leading to 18 counts of theft after prior convictions, 8 counts of trespassing, 1 count of simple battery and charges from another jurisdiction.

His last known address is 1118 S. Main Street in Wichita.

Emley has previous convictions for theft, burglary, aggravated battery, for drugs and nine time for making false writing, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
