SALINE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities continue their investigation of alleged counterfeiting and are working to identify a suspect.

Just before 1p.m. July 19, 2019, a man entered the Little Caesars, 645 E Crawford in Salina, ordered food and paid using a counterfeit bill, according to Salina Police.

He is described as a black male, tall, stocky, with shoulder-length braided hair, wearing a salmon colored polo shirt, and a black baseball cap.

This same person likewise attempted to pass counterfeit bills at the CVS, 681 S Ohio in Salina on July 19. This occurred directly before the Little Caesars event.

Finally, a Salina man sold a video gaming system on July 28, 2019, at 11 a.m., and the buyer provided what was found to be counterfeit bills. The victim described the suspect, and pointed out a previously submitted July 26, 2019, edition of Salina Crimestoppers. The victim believed the photographs on that tip showed the person who bought the game system.

Salina Police Detectives are seeking information on his identity.
