Icy roads have resulted in some area school cancellations for Monday ( Jan. 13 ). But that will not be the case for Geary USD 475.
--USD 475 announced Sunday evening that USD 475 schools will be under a normal schedule Monday, January 13th. There --will not be a delayed start to the school day.
--USD 383 Manhattan - Ogden schools will be closed on Monday
--St. Xavier School will open two hours late on Monday. Doors will open at 9:50 and school will begin at 10:20.
--The Cloud County Community College campus in Junction City will open two hours late Monday morning.
--The Geary County Senior Center will be closed on Monday.
School closures on Monday include:
--USD 481 Rural Vista closed
--USD 320 Wamego closed with all activities postponed
--USD 378 Riley County closed and all activities are postponed
--USDZ 379 Clay County closed
--USD 384 Blue Valley closed
--USD 323 Rock Creek closed and all activities are postponed
--USD 364 Marysville closed
--USD 33 Concordia closed
--USD 417 Morris County will have a two-hour delay. There will not be any pre-Kindergarten Monday.
--USD 487 Herington will start on a two-hour delay.
