RILEY COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after noon Friday in Riley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Ford Focus driven by Madelyn G. Turner, 19, Gardner, was northbound on Kansas 177 one mile north of Interstate 70.
The driver lost control on the ice-covered roadway, entered the east ditch and rolled several times coming to rest on its wheels.
EMS transported Turner to the hospital in Manhattan. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
