HARPER COUNTY— One person died in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Sunday in Harper County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo driven by Paul Raberding, 65, Harper, was westbound on US. 160 two miles east of Harper.
The Chevy crossed centerline and struck a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica driven by David P. Johnson, 52, Harper, head-on.
EMS transported Raberding to the hospital in Wellington where he died. Johnson was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. EMS transported a passenger in the Chrysler Aumnouypon Starkey,70, Harper, to the hospital in Harper. Raberding was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
