K-State made their share of mistakes in this ballgame. Afterwards coach Chris Klieman stated that it was a disappointing loss. "A game that West Virginia earned the victory and deserved to win. I thought they outplayed us. All that being said, we had an opportunity late in the game to almost steal a victory. So, disappointed in a number of things but we've got to move on, we've got to move forward.

K-State struggled to run the ball, averaging just 3.2 yards per attempt on 32 carries.

Kansas State ( 6-4 ) will play at Texas Tech next Saturday.
