SUMNER COUNTY —Just before 9a.m. Monday, the Wellington Police Department reported that 67-year-old Ronald Cook was located and is now safe. The statewide silver alert is now canceled.&nbsp;

SUMNER COUNTY – The Wellington Police Department requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Wichita man. The whereabouts of Ronald Cook, 67, are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate him. 

Cook was last seen leaving his residence at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday July 8, wearing a beige shirt and dark gray sweat pants. Cook is believed to be driving a 2007 Ford Edge with Kansas license plate 2503ACZ.Cook is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 250 pounds, gray hair with brown eyes.If you see him, please call 911.
