While the number of those infected with COVID continues to decrease in Riley County, we remind the community to continue wearing masks, social distancing and keep social gatherings small. The CDC posted information about safer ways to enjoy the Super Bowl this weekend https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/holidays/small-gatherings.html
This week the Health Department continued vaccinating those 65 and older with severe health conditions and those who are homebound. To date, 4,932 vaccines have been administered by Riley County Health Department, 53 of them to individuals who are homebound.
Riley County will continue to vaccinate those 65 and older with severe health conditions next week and administer second doses to those who qualify.
