BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for allegedly skipping court.
Just after 7:30p.m. June 12, sheriff's deputies made a traffic stop in the vicinity of Kansas 20 and Kingfisher in rural Brown County, according to Sheriff John Merchant.
Deputies discovered the driver 24-year-old Mackenzie Blalock of Lawrence, had 2 outstanding Warrants from Douglas County for Failure to Appear. She was arrested and taken to the Brown County jail.
