KHP IDs Kan. woman who died after violent I-70 crash

LEAVENWORTH COUNTY— The Kansas Highway Patrol has released the name of the  driver who died in a violent crash just before 2a.m. Friday in Leavenworth County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Ford Taurus driven by Danielle Delores Wyatt, 26, Topeka, was  westbound on Interstate 70 just east of the Tonganoxie  exit in lane one.

The vehicle  left the roadway to the left, traveled down the roadway into the ditch, returned to the road, drifted off the roadway again, collided with the ditch and vaulted multiple times into a roll.

Wyatt was ejected at an unknown point during the crash. The vehicle came to a stop on top of her and she was pinned under the car. 

Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a vehicle was  westbound on Interstate 70 just east of the Tonganoxie  exit in lane one.

The vehicle  left the roadway to the left, traveled down the roadway into the ditch, returned to the road, drifted off the roadway again, collided with the ditch and vaulted multiple times into a roll.

The driver was ejected at an unknown point during the collision. The vehicle came to a stop on top of the driver who was pinned under the vehicle.

The KHP released no additional details early Friday.
