The Junction City Brigade fell to the Baldwin City Blues 6-4 in the opening game of their semifinal round Mid Plains League playoff series. Game two is set for 7 p.m. Saturday at Rathert Field in Junction City. If a game three is necessary in the best two-out-of-three series it will played at 7 p.m. Sunday at Rathert Field.
In the other semifinal round contest Friday night the Midwest A's defeated the Sabetha Bravos 10-4 to take a 1-0 lead in that series.
