On Saturday the Champions Indoor Football League officially announced their week four award winners and the Salina Liberty were right back in the mix, with returner Kevin Simmons being named Special Teams Player of the Week.

Simmons helped get the Liberty off on the right foot last week, housing the opening kick of their eventual 66-65 overtime win over the Topeka Tropics.

Salina will be back in action on Sunday, April 2nd when they travel to Rapid City for a matchup with the Marshals.
