MANHATTAN, Kansas – The 2021 K-State women’s basketball non-conference schedule has been finalized as the Wildcats will travel to South Carolina on Friday, December 3, for the 2021 Big 12/SEC Challenge.

K-State begins the month of December with a three-game road trip. The Wildcats will start the road slate at South Carolina on Friday, December 3, in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. The all-time series between K-State and South Carolina is tied at two games apiece.

The Gamecocks finished the 2020-21 season with a 26-5 overall record and a 14-2 mark in the SEC. South Carolina reached the Final Four of the 2021 NCAA Tournament before falling to eventual national champion Stanford, 66-65. South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley recently led the U.S. Women’s National Team to a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

For the 2021-22 season, the Wildcats return eight letter winners led by 2022 All-America candidate Ayoka Lee and All-Big 12 candidate Rachel Ranke. K-State will add the services of five newcomers including: Rebekah Dallinger (Sydney, Australia), Brylee Glenn (Kansas City, Missouri), Jaelyn Glenn (Kansas City, Missouri) Malene Lind Pederson (Aabyhoj, Denmark) and Serena Sundell (Maryville, Missouri).

The 2021-22 Big 12 schedule, game times, promotional and television schedules will be released later this summer. The 2022 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship will be contested at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri, March 10-13, 2022.
