Manhattan ( 9-13 ) will play Lawrence Free State ( 21-1 ) in the first round of the boys Class 6A State Tournament at 2 p.m. Thursday. The tournament is being played at Koch Arena in Wichita.
Other first round pairings find Blue Valley ( 19-3 ) vs. Shawnee Mission Northwest ( 18-4 ), Wichita Heights ( 20-2 ) vs. Olathe North ( 11-11 ) and Dodge City ( 19-3 ) will play Olathe West ( 14-8 ).
The tournament will continue Friday and Saturday.
