KANSAS CITY —Two people died in an accident just before 3p.m. Saturday in Kansas City.
A preliminary investigation of the accident revealed that a Honda two door passenger vehicle was westbound on 23rd Street at Stark Avenue in Kansas City at a high rate of speed, according to KCPD Officer Jake Becchins.
The Honda traveled off the roadway into the embankment and rolled. Both occupants were not wearing their seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle. One occupant was pronounced dead on scene and the other one was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
These are fatalities 91 and 92 for 2024, according to Becchina.
