The Salina Liberty will play their final home game of the 2022 season against the Topeka Tropics on Saturday, May 27 and the team is going all out for Military Appreciation Night.

“The Salina Liberty, our veterans, and our armed forces go hand in hand,” Liberty GM Francis Flax said. “We’re excited to have the Salina Community on hand as we make a playoff push on Memorial Day weekend.”

Festivities will kick off at 3:00 in the west lot of the Tony’s Pizza Events Center with the official Liberty tailgate party.

Doors will open at 5:30 and discounted tickets are available to all veterans and active members of the US military.

The American Legion and VFW Riders will make a special appearance during the pregame festivities before the official kickoff at 6:35 PM.

At halftime, Salina has a very special ceremony planned as 15 future members of the United States Armed Forces will be sworn into service on the field.

The Liberty will also hold a jersey auction and autograph session for fans who stick around after the game.
