LAWRENCE, Kan— Kansas Basketball Head Coach Bill Self spoke to members of the media ahead of the 2021 Big 12 Tournament.
Self began the presser by highlighting that the Jayhawks would be without two pieces this week, as David McCormack and Tristan Enaruna are in COVID-19 protocol and will be unavailable during the Big 12 Tournament.
McCormack was named Big 12 Most Improved Player Monday, after averaging 13.4 points and 6.1 rebounds in 23 minutes per game this season.
The Jayhawks have won seven of their last eight games and are the 2-seed in the Big 12 Tournament. They'll take on the winner of 7-seed Oklahoma and 10-seed Iowa State on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.
