KANSAS CITY—Kansas City , Missouri police know some heroes have four legs.
Earlier this month, police responded to a call for a toddler found wandering barefoot on the street, according to a social media report from KCMO Police.. While trying to figure out the toddler’s identity and family, a dog kept nudging at the officers. To officers, the dog was trying to tell them something. When the dog walked away, the officers followed their instincts and the dog.
The dog led officers to a house. That house was the toddler’s home.
The toddler was reunited with family, though there is an investigation as to what happened.
