MANHATTAN - Less than 12 hours after being arrested for drug and criminal carry of weapons related charges, Nicholas Ray Mainville, 41, Manhattan was arrested early Thursday morning in connection with an aggravated battery charge.
Riley County Police Department officers responded to the 500 block of Leavenworth Street around 2:30 am on Thursday, August 4th, where they located an injured woman.
A 42-year old female reported being hit in the face with a baseball bat by 41-year old Mainville.
The victim was transported to Ascension Via Christ in Manhattan for treatment of her injuries.
Mainville was transported to the Riley County Jail in connection with the aggravated battery and is being held without bond.

Mainville was arrested early Wednesday evening for: distribute opiate, opium, narcotic, certain stimulant; <3.5 grams; Criminal carry of weapons: bludgeon/sandclub/knuckles/throwing star, Use/possess w/intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body. He was released on bond of $5,000
Mainville was also arrested on Tuesday for Theft of property or services, Value $1,500 to $25,000; Theft from Motor Vehicle. He was released on bond of $3,000.
