SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a deadly weekend shooting in Wichita have identified the man who died as 38-year-old Thomas Rhodes.
Police say a 38-year-old man was shot and killed during an argument with a homeowner in south Wichita over the weekend.
Just before 10p.m. Saturday police responded to a shooting at a home in the 3300 block of South Euclid, according to police spokesman Andrew Ford. Officer found Rhodes with gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined there was an altercation between the homeowner and Rhodes during a gathering at the home. The homeowner asked Rhodes to leave, but he returned and was shot during a second altercation. Police have not reported an arrest.
