Sheriff: Kansas man was selling pills with fentanyl

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

Just after 6p.m. March 18, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a silver Dodge Durango on U.S. Highway 75 just south of 330th Road for a traffic infraction, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

During the stop, probable cause was obtained to search the vehicle where round blue pills, known as “Dirty 30’s” and drug paraphernalia were discovered.

The driver, Steven Perry, 34, of Hiawatha, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail for distribution of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended and no insurance.
