ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Florida—Law enforcement authorities in Florida are investigating a Kansas woman for a shooting that sent her husband to a hospital.
Just after 10:30p.m. Monday, Beach Deputies responded to a 'shot fired' disturbance at the Fairfield Inn on Via De Luna Drive in Pensacola Beach, according to Sheriff's Sgt. Melony Peterson.
Deputies determined the victim was shot by his wife during a disturbance. The husband was air-lifted to a hospital and is expected to recover, according to Peterson. Deputies arrested his wife 31-year-old Jacqueline W. King on requested charges of attempted murder. She is being held without bond, according to online jail records.
